Navigating the E-Alert Portal

Using the E-Alert Portal allows employees and/or members of the public to efficiently create E-Alerts for multiple sites or a specific site within the administrator's vSOC system.

To submit an E-Alert through the E-Alert Portal:
  1. Enter the URL for the E-Alert Portal index page.
    • For users who wish to create an E-Alert for a specific site, enter the URL that contains the Site ID in the following format: https://domain/VSOC/ealert/default.aspx?site=SiteNumber
    • The user can also skip the index page and create an E-Alert with a specific interface. Use the URL that contains the E-Alert Interface ID in the following format: https://domain/VSOC/ealert/default.aspx?id=IdNumber.
    Note: The "Site ID" and "E-Alert Interface ID" can be configured in the Admin Tool.
  2. From the list of Interfaces that appear on the index page, select the appropriate interface for the E-Alert.

    Note: The system administrator has the option to hide specific interfaces from the index page. If the required interface does not appear on this screen, please contact your administrator.
  3. Click Next on the Greetings Page to continue (if applicable).
    Note: The system administrator can customize the greetings text or select to skip the greetings page through the Admin Tool. If the administrator has selected to skip the greetings page, the user will be automatically re-directed to a new E-Alert webform.
